My Work Style

My work style is centered around connection, consistency and encouragement. I believe these three components are very essential when working together to reach a desired goal. I begin with each client by building trust and connection between all parties involved. I remain consistent in my teaching approach and I also like to teach to my clients why consistency is important throughout the process. And while consistency is a key component to learning a new skill, encouragement throughout the process helps the progression towards mastering a new skill.

What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

I practice yoga constantly, but when I really need to de-stress I usually take my dog for a long hike on the North Country Trail.

Why I Became a BCBA

I have always known that I wanted to help others see their potential. When I came across the field of ABA I realized Behavior Analysts not only help others see their potential but they also help others reach their potential. I fell in love with the field of ABA as an RBT in 2017 and became a BCBA in 2021.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

They might say, I care deeply about the progress that each and every one of my clients make. I provide continuous hope and encouragement throughout their progress while keeping their best interest at heart.

What I Love Most About What I Do

What I love most about what I do is being able to form strong connections with the families and clients that I serve. Seeing a smile or hearing a laugh because of something I said or did is my favorite part of each session.

Most Challenging Professional Moment

Above all the normal struggles and difficulties I have seen in every day practice, seeing a client lose faith in themselves was the most challenging moment I have faced.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

Seeing a client reach a goal is very rewarding but the most rewarding part of the process is when a client realizes that they are capable.
