Why I Became a BCBA

Growing up I was involved in many sports. Each level I played at , up to collegiate level, I consistently found that I was just as pleased to see others reach their goal as I was to reach my goal. My involvement with sports led me to working in sports camps for kids. Eventually, I worked on at camp for children with disabilities and from there I discovered behavior analysis. I thought it was so cool that I could help others reach their goals using science.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

Most would probably say that I’m easy-going guy.

What I Love Most About What I Do

Seeing learning happen.

Most Challenging Professional Moment

Being asked to switch off a case. There were a variety of reasons but it was a good learning experience. Fit means everything; I think I was a little too easy-going for the family.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

When my teenage client was able to walk to the store by himself (with parent’s permission) and purchase mac n cheese with no issues. He currently works at that grocery store now.
