I have 3 kiddos, so I’m not familiar with this term, “free-time”, just kidding, I enjoy being outside with my family. We love to camp, enjoy time on the lake. I also enjoy reading, and exercising.
I want to make sure that I have a good rapport with family and the child, without that it is almost impossible to do your job. I want each person to know that they are valued and that I hear them. Each situation is different, so it is not a once size fits all approach. I like to realy take time to understand them so that I can make recommendations that will be in the child’s best interest while keeping their entire family in mind. I never want to change the child or their personality, because they are perfect just the way they are, I only want to bring them the opportunity to become more independence.
Parent training, early intervention, language development, treating problem behaviors, social skills deficits, aggressive behaviors, academic skills, school-based issues, acceptance and commitment therapy and behavioral gerontology.

I fell in love with ABA when my son was receiving services at the age of four. We were brand new to his diagnosis and truly felt lost in where to go or what to do. I want to equip other parents like myself to know and understand how to engage with their children and to help provide them with the support that is needed in raising a wonderful member of the neurodiverse community. My son is proud of his “superpower” as he calls it, and I want other children to feel the same way about their ‘superpower’ as well.
They would probably say that I am deeply committed to ensuring that the children that I serve know that they have a voice in their treatment.
I love problem solving, and knowing that there are always solutions.
When I don’t have complete caregiver buy in or follow through, it makes it very difficult, to make progress.
There are so many, that it is so hard to choose just one. So #1 when a child is able to communicate a need, or a want. #2. When a parent comes to our next session so excited to tell me how they are seeing their child grow and learn.
