What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

Living in Florida, I love being outdoors and in the sun. I enjoy spending time at the beach, going out on the boat, and exercising (yoga and pilates are my favorite!) Other than that, I’m a major homebody and can be found cozied up in my house spending time with my husband, two dogs, and two cats.

My Work Style

I believe in progress, not perfection. I work to collaborate with clients and their families to discover which goals are most important to them; and do whatever I can to help them achieve those goals. The process may seem long at times, but as long as we’re doing a little better than the previous session, that’s a win in my book!

Areas of Expertise

Parent training, VB MAPP, ABLLS, functional living skills, functional communication, academic skills, problem behavior reduction, toilet training

Why I Became a BCBA

Having a career helping others was always important to me. When I found out about Applied Behavior Analysis it instantly excited me, and when I actually started working in the field as a Behavior Technician, everything seemed to “click”… I knew I wanted to become a BCBA.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

That I am easy to get along with and fun to work with!

What I Love Most About What I Do

Being able to connect with families and helping improve their relationships with each other

Most Challenging Professional Moment

Any time I have to say goodbye to a client for any reason, whether they are moving (or I am moving), they were discharged, or have decided not to receive services any more.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

When a client performs a skill independently for the first time, no matter how small.
