What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

Spending time with my boyfriend and dog. I also enjoy biking, going to the beach and exploring different hiking trails.

My Work Style

I am very organized and collaborative. I enjoy working as a team (parents, caregivers, and other related health providers). I am also very mindful when selecting interventions and ensure that it holds a high degree of ethics. My goal as a clinician is to continue to further my knowledge in the field and to disseminate the science to families who would benefit from ABA.

Why I Became a BCBA

I started my ABA career as intern therapist in my last year of undergrad. From that moment on I grew to appreciate the science and loved seeing the smile on clients faces when their child used the potty for the first time or when a client started using words to communicate their wants and needs.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

Clients would describe me as easy going, calm and approachable.

What I Love Most About What I Do

I love that everything is data-based and objective. I also enjoy interacting with various families and clients.

Most Challenging Professional Moment

The hardest part of my job is having to discharge clients that require more intensive treatment.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

There are a lot of moments that bring me joy in this field, and one of the most rewarding ones are seeing my clients graduate from ABA and seeing parents implement the skills that they’ve observed in sessions with their children!
