What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

Anytime I’m near an ocean, eating seafood that is my happy place, reading a good book or binge-watching Netflix is a close second.

My Work Style

My work style involves active listening so I can establish a connection with my clients. I focus on building trust by following through on goals set by taking a collaborative approach with my clients and outlining a plan of action that really gets at the core of what they are looking to achieve. I regularly take moments to stop and celebrate the mini victories along the way.

Why I Became a BCBA

I became a BCBA because I love teaching children and adults’ new skills that can impact their daily lives and empowering parents.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

They would probably say I am a great listener and practical problem solver.

What I Love Most About What I Do

I love making a positive impact on families, that can come in the form of giving them additional information, helping them work through challenging behaviors, or come up with ways to improve upon their child’s independence skills.

Most Challenging Professional Moment

When I encounter difficulties helping clients secure access to the services they need whether it be the school system, medical field, or intensive ABA therapy.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

When parents are successful at teaching their kiddo a new skill, such as communication or toileting, and being in the position to facilitate a client’s progress that allows them to move from restrictive settings to a general education setting.
