What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

I enjoy playing tennis, going to CrossFit, and fishing…specifically Catfishing on the river!

My Work Style

I have worked in public and private school settings, communities, clinics, home based services, and telehealth. I have worked with individuals between the ages of 2 and 60 years of age with autism, brain injury, and other developmental and neurological disorders. No matter the setting, age, or diagnosis I spend time building rapport with each of my client’s and their support systems. I find it most beneficial to understand your child, your home environment, and ultimately what “success” looks like to you. I am consistently working towards improving your child's quality of life!

Areas of Expertise

Social skills, social groups, parent training, reduction in aberrant behaviors, and play.

Why I Became a BCBA

I knew I wanted to work with children growing up; however, wasn’t sure what field. I took an ABA class in my undergraduate course work and fell in love with the science. I then worked in an early childhood clinic and knew this was where I was supposed to be. I have been in the fileld of Autism Spectrum Disorders since then.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

They would say I am a fun and silly therapist. I am constantly using various forms of reinforcement to see my clients smile!

What I Love Most About What I Do

ABA is evidence-based and you can see it working right in front of you!

Most Challenging Professional Moment

When I have to refer a client to another provider, because we aren’t the right fit. I want to be able to provide high-quality therapy to all children.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

My most rewarding moment as a professional was being the lead BCBA on a case where the child started expanding her food repertoire! The family no longer lived on chicken nuggets and fries.
