What I Do To De-stress In My Free Time

In my free time I enjoying spending quality time with my husband and two children. We love the warm weather and being outdoors. When everyone is asleep I love to crawl up with a good book!

My Work Style

I started in the field in 2010 and have been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2014. During the beginning years of my career I was not very satisfied with the level of support and training that I was receiving. Upon numerous discussions with a colleague we decided to take the leap and open our own clinic! We pride ourselves on providing the ongoing support and training to all employees, as well as having an open door policy. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in April 2022!

Why I Became a BCBA

Ever since I was young, I always knew that I wanted to work with children, however I wasn’t sure in what capacity. I discovered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis while having a discussion about my future with a friend. I quickly enrolled in the coursework and have never looked back! I have a passion for helping others and I want to help create a supportive environment in which individuals with ASD can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

I am extremely supportive and dedicated and go above and beyond to help their children succeed.

What I Love Most About What I Do

I love working with others towards the same goal; improving the lives of children with autism.

Most Challenging Professional Moment

One of the most challenging moments for me is when an intervention is not successful. I find that having a support system of colleagues that I can speak with and bounce ideas off of is so important in this field.

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

Breakthrough moments are so important! Observing a child complete a task independently for the first time always brings tears to my eye.
