My Work Style

I think choosing goals and strategies that are a good fit for clients and their families are paramount to developing a successful program. I am constantly evaluating whether what I am doing brings value and meaning to my clients. At the end of the day, the end goal is to fade me out and to ensure that my client can live their best life.

Areas of Expertise

Why I Became a BCBA

I strongly believe in tailoring programs to individuals and using data to guide our decisions. I love working with individuals with autism- some of my greatest conversations are from a population that society feels aren’t able to have meaningful conversations. That isn’t true!

What Previous Clients Would Say About Me

I have been told I am “strict but fair”. Parents would say that I have a knack for working with children and focus on functional programs (what works in real life and not out of a text book)

What I Love Most About What I Do

Being creative with the resources I have at hand

Most Challenging Professional Moment

Working with a senior client with autism who endured decades of physical and mental abuse

Most Rewarding Professional Moment

Teaching a child to communicate when their previous clinical team had told parents that he would likely never learn to- seeing parents believe in the potential of their child is so rewarding!
